Abstract

CRUZ FERNANDEZ, Meilys  and  GARCIA BATAN, Jorge. Pedagogical strategy to train the journalistic investigation competence in the students of the Bachelor of Journalism. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2024, vol.16, n.3, pp. 39-48.  Epub June 30, 2024. ISSN 2218-3620.

The training of competent professionals in journalistic investigation is reaffirmed as a priority in the Bachelor's degree in Journalism, however, limitations persist in the performance of future journalists in the investigation of social reality associated with theoretical-methodological gaps in the study plan that , in turn, affect work practice and the pedagogical preparation of teachers. In this sense, the objective is to develop a pedagogical strategy for the formation of the journalistic investigation competence in the students of the Bachelor of Journalism, as an ideal way to improve the way of professional action. In the study, the methods of analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, ascent from the abstract to the concrete and pre-experiment were usefuk, in addition to the bibliographic review, documentary analysis, exchange and socialization workshops, the survey and the content analysis. By the way, the phases of the strategy are shown, with its objectives and specific actions, as well as preliminary results of its implementation during the first period of the 2023 course in the 3rd year of the Journalism career at the University of Camagüey "Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz”.
