Abstract

The social determinant of the health are the circumstances in that people are born, they grow, they live, they work, they age and they explain great part of the inequalities in health. The surveillance of the public health is the systematic, continuous collection, the analysis, the dissemination and the interpretation of data related with the health for the planning, the implementation and the evaluation of the performances of public health. A situational room in health requires an integral and social vision of the process health-illness. Of here that the proposed objective is: to design and to implement a prototype of system of surveillance and monitoreo of the situation of health based on the focus of the social determination of the health in the municipality Abreus of the county Cienfuegos. He/she was carried out an investigation in systems and services of health (ISSS) to develop a situational room that allowed the improvement of the state of the population's health in Abreus in the period 2023-2027. It had a diagnostic stage (I study descriptive) and others of design, intervention and evaluation (quasi experimental). The experiences are exposed in the conception, implementation and development of the room proposal in their different stages, their premises, characteristic and impact. The implementation of the situational room strengthened the system of local information and the generation of evidences for the processes of taking of decisions in the territory based on the essential functions of analysis and surveillance of the situation of health.
