Abstract

The scientific research demands the necessary training in scientific communication of professors, researchers and students in the university institutions' context. That is why the Group of Scientific Communication (GCC) of Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas has developed the project Training in Scientific Communication for university students. Scientific communication workshops emerged as a result of this project focused on the training in scientific communication of university students. These workshops were offered for the first time in the academic year 2014-2015 of bachelor's degree in Chemistry, attending the request of professors and students of this career. The research process followed to design and implement these workshops is ascribed to the qualitative paradigm of research and it was followed an action- research design. There were used techniques such as: participating observation, documentary analysis, analysis of contents, questionnaires, interviews and field diary. The objective of this article is to share the research and teaching experience developed in the above mentioned career due to its importance for the professional training of the bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
