The visibility of web portals of organizations, institutions and companies on the Internet depends on the stability of a set of factors focused on achieving a better positioning and being among the best search results when requested by users. For this reason, SEO strategies are becoming extremely significant for those interested in order, for these portals, to appear in an organic and natural way in the first search results requested. This increases access to the information that these sites have and therefore to a greater acknowledgement. This article deals with the subject associated with the web positioning of portals and analyzes case studies associated with web portals. As a result, a set of good practices is proposed in correspondence to the deficiencies detected that could serve as a reference for developers and web masters in their efforts to provide visibility to the portals they develop or manage.
