Computer software is suggested to support strategic management at Maximo Gomez Baez University of Ciego de Avila, Cuba, in order to provide directors with a tool to back up and improve such processes. This contributes to related information follow-up and decision-making support. Rational Unified Process was the methodology used within the Yii framework, based on PHP programming language. This system is currently spread throughout the university, and it helps manage 205 indicators for evaluation of more than 200 organic units through 15000 settings.
