Abstract

PEREZ GONZALEZ, Yudeisy  and  PONJUAN DANTE, Gloria. Social knowledge as an indispensable asset in knowledge society. Rev. cuba. inf. cienc. salud [online]. 2016, vol.27, n.3, pp. 345-360. ISSN 2307-2113.

The purpose of the present review was to analyze the main experiences about social knowledge and its management published in mainstream literature. A search was conducted in the databases Scopus, WoS and LISA, as well as in Google Scholar, to identify the experiences and viewpoints analyzed in the paper. The main result obtained is a better understanding of the concept of social knowledge and its role in society, since knowledge is the main asset in knowledge society. The final considerations include some recommendations based on the results of the study.
