Abstract

PONJUAN DANTE, Gloria  and  HERNANDEZ CASTELLANO, Wendy. Contexts for Knowledge Management in Cuban organizations: an overview of "Ba" in Cuba. Rev. cuba. inf. cienc. salud [online]. 2017, vol.28, n.2, pp.1-17. ISSN 2307-2113.

An analysis is provided of the results of a study conducted in 15 Cuban institutions representing four groups of organizations where information is used intensively. The objective was to analyze the behavior of different variables in the particular contexts of each, and determine whether or not the type of institution facilitated knowledge creation in the different contexts. An interview in the form of a questionnaire was applied to managers or specialists from intentionally selected institutions. A presentation is provided of the behavior of four types of Knowledge Management contexts at the institutions studied. Considerations are included about the behavior of some variables at the institutions studied. It was found that the behavior identified corresponds to the one described in the bibliography about the topic.

Keywords : Knowledge Management; "Ba"; contexts; Cuba.
