Abstract

GOMEZ VELAZQUEZ, Natasha  and  VILA BLANCO, Dolores. For a Marxism with Real Life, beyond the Discipline and the Norm. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2019, vol.7, n.2, e19.  Epub July 25, 2019. ISSN 2308-0132.

This essay reflects critically on the forms of popularization and institutionalization of Marxism in Cuba, particularly its school organization, processes that extend for almost 60 years. It makes an invitation to transgress the norms and edges of legitimized dogmas, and to try to approach what has been excluded, but that gave life and meaning to revolutionary Marxism: its controversies, contradictions, uncertainties, strategic and tactical diversities. These complexities mark the real history of Marxism, diverse and conflictive. Only this perspective of study can stimulate the critical thinking that a revolution needs.

Keywords : Marxism; critic; education; Cuba.
