This article formulates some ideas on the importance and content of the development of enterprises and their links as a premise for the development of the country. In the latter case, it emphasizes what is related to Cuba's international insertion as one of the pivots for achieving and sustaining such development. Subsequently, a characterization of some of the actors in the Cuban business fabric is made in terms of the current legal framework, its dynamics in recent years and problems that still prevail in their performance and interaction.
