Abstract

This research presents a tool to evaluate the degree of sustainability of Cuban private enterprises, based on the analysis of four dimensions that determine that a business is sustainable: economy, institution, environment and society and the methodological procedure followed for the design is described. The validation is based on the Delphi method, pilot application to 50 establishments and analysis of internal consistency according to the calculation of the Cronbach coefficient. Finally, it’s determined that the tool is feasible and useful for measuring sustainability in Cuban private enterprises.
