The article that is presented is born from the questioning of the existence of social conditions for the development of enterprises in Cuba. In this sense, several official and scientific documents are analyzed, as well as researches carried out on the subject, and the derived data are presented. The existence of a scenario of opportunities and strengths is verified, although not without weaknesses and threats.
