Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution has generated great changes, mainly in the educational and labor field and it is to be expected that related to Higher Education in Cuba, a group of necessary transformations will originate that allow it to adapt to the needs to prepare future professionals of a changing labor market for the new missions and challenges that the development of the country will impose. In this sense, education 4.0 is presented as a flexible and adaptive model that is characterized by relying on information and communication technologies and, mainly, on industry 4.0 digitization technologies. The objective of this article was to design the competence profile of the graduate of this career with the requirements of the Study Plan "E" for the Course by Meeting, which will allow achieving efficiency and effectiveness in the educational teaching process and the empowerment of competencies. necessary that the student must acquire during his undergraduate degree to function in this new environment and be competitive in the development of his work. A quantitative study was carried out with a descriptive design that included a sample of 90 students from the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th year who study the career in the Course By Meeting modality at the Headquarters and at the Municipal University Centers of Caibarién and Sagua the Great.
