Abstract

RINCON, Omar. From domesticated journalism to bastard journalism and DJ. ARCIC [online]. 2017, vol.6, n.12, pp.6-25. ISSN 2411-9970.

The XX century ended in politics with Fidel Castro´s death and Trump´s triumph. The style journalism of the XX century also died. In the cultural aspect, the XXI had started in 1990 with the beginning of Internet and the triumph of the entertainment logic. This unleveled situation between culture and politics is an expression of the great ruin that journalism is living to make sense and to narrate our contemporaneity on the networks, apps, public intimacies, pop y cool rituals and symbols. The XX century old world was diluted: the great media only know how to make emotions through sensationalism, the solemn journalist can´t report, reed, comprehend, explain and narrate the reality. In this essay I argue that it is necessary and urgent to re-invent journalism

Keywords : Journalism; pos-truth; narrate; formats; DJ.
