Abstract

PEREZ GONZALEZ, Elvia María; RODRIGUEZ OJEDA, Miriam  and  RODRIGUEZ IGLESIAS, Amado. Formative process centered in the learnings styles: new environments in the journalism teaching. ARCIC [online]. 2018, vol.7, suppl.1, pp.48-60. ISSN 2411-9970.

In front of the needs for improving Journalism teaching in Cuba, starting through the development knowledge continually surfacing inside the changes and challenges outlined by the current Information Society, it should be had a bigger consideration into the student like main character of the learning process.

This article, supported in renovated pedagogic conceptions, intends to focus didactic process of the journalism career into the knowledge and development of the student's learning styles, as a way to personalize the educational influences and to improve their integral formation as future professionals of Journalism formed in School of Communication at the University of Havana.

In that way, the learning styles are assumed as a dynamic and main principle of the personal and not personal components of the teaching-educative process, starting from the use of methods, modes and means of teaching developers.

The learning styles, for some time now, are part of a recurrent topic in the research that follows a psycho-pedagogic line, because they explain, in certain way, the different behaviors of the individuals when they face a learning task.

For contributing to the relevance in the formative process of the journalism career, we have been projected in favor of the elaboration of a didactic-methodological proposal that takes in, not only the students ways to perceive and to process the information, but also their ways of being guided temporary and socially in the execution of their personal goals and their tasks as apprentices.
