This article proposes to unveil the journalistic treatment of Cultural Identity in the news program Cultural News of Cuban Television, as well as to delve into the routines and communicative practices of this space. It gives an account of the process developed in the culmination exercise of the degree in Journalism entitled Cultural journalism: sign of Cuban identity, an investigation that conforms to the modality of a professional portfolio and in which, as main results, are determined distinctive features of the productive process of space, its editorial policy and information agenda, dramaturgy, visuality and typologies of journalistic genres employed in your communicative offer. The methodological techniques used include the bibliographic-documentary review, the participant observation and the semi-structured interview.
