Abstract

The research aims to identify the information flows of the strategic processes of the Distance Education modality at the University of Havana. It was carried out under the non-experimental (cross-sectional) quantitative methodological perspective, with a descriptive scope. Three macro-processes considered strategic for this modality were determined: Information, Communication and Computerization Macro-process, Human Resources Macro-process and Strategic Control Macro-process. The files and flow charts of each of the strategic processes that compose them were prepared for their correct interpretation and understanding. The strategic process management proposal for the Distance Education modality at the University of Havana, constitutes it will serve as a guide and support to systematically and sustainably raise the quality of its academic services. In addition, it will allow decision-making regarding the mention of responsibilities, tasks and resources in the institution.
