Abstract

VAZQUEZ MUNOZ, Luis Raúl; RICARDO LUIS, Roger  and  SALADRIGAS MEDINA, Hilda María. Challenges of mediations in the journalism - literature connection from the theory of Manuel Martín Serrano. ARCIC [online]. 2023, vol.12, n.31, pp. 309-329.  Epub Apr 01, 2023. ISSN 2411-9970.

This article proposes an approach to the possibilities of studying literary journalism from the perspective of mediations in the communication sciences. This journalistic practice is based on the complexity of becoming a hybrid from the interrelation of informative language with that of narrative genres. From this premise, the mediations can be a relevant space for the study of this modality because its offers possibilities to analyzing complex phenomena in an integrative way and, also, by the theoretical-methodological contribution of Manuel Martín Serrano's theories, which allow understanding the construction of contents in the media in their interrelation with the cultural and institutional changes of a society.

Keywords : journalism; literature; mediations; comunication; art; mass communication media; Manuel Martín Serrano.
