Editorial scope and policy

The Gaceta Médica Espirituana (Gac Méd Espirit) is an Open Access journal, the publishing institution is the University of Medical Sciences of Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. Its objective is to publish the scientific results related to health and the training of human resources for health, from anywhere in the world. It has a quarterly frequency, publishes full text original research, among which may be: pedagogical research, brief communications, history in health sciences; It also publishes review articles, systematic reviews, case reports, letters to the editor and editorials, all related to the area of health research, care and teaching.

The Gaceta Médica Espirituana journal has a quarterly periodicity, its editing and publication is completely free for the authors. There is no fee waiver policy for authors from developing countries.

There is no commercial or lucrative use, nor is advertising accepted or hosted for any product, person or service that is mentioned.
