This article responds to the need to increase the preparation of instructors of educational work in the Pedagogical School of Pinar del Rio, in order to respond to the demands and needs pedagogical process. From the analysis of their antecedents and the conditions that led to their emergence, responsibilities, functions, actions and characteristics were determined, allowing them to develop skills in their professional performance, thus contributing to their professional and human improvement. The proposed objective is to develop a strategy of improvement for instructors of educational work to improve their professional performance in the "Tania La Guerrillera" Pedagogical School during the 2015-2016 academic years. The methodological basis for the research is the dialectical materialistic method, with the use of methods of theoretical level, empirical and statistical techniques. The overcoming of the instructors of educational work shows a high performance, evidenced in the preparation achieved by the teachers based on a new vision of its components which allows transformations in the educational process.
