The objective of this research is to analyze the need for the Emmanuel Shelter project in the Teófilo Dávila Hospital, in order to provide improvements in the service of care for the sick and their families and to the community orense in general, thus facilitating the accommodation and providing them service with a sense of quality and with the joint work between the volunteers and the private company. To achieve the objective of this research, theoretical documentary research methods such as documentary analysis and the interpretation of the bibliography consulted related to the subject were applied. The creation of the Hostel Emmanuel is a solution, it would become a center of social assistance, where people with limited economic resources who have sick relatives hospitalized in this hospital can spend the night, rest or clean. This project has a great social impact for the benefits that it generates by contributing to the decrease of the overcrowding of relatives in the waiting rooms of the hospital and by providing accommodation and comprehensive emotional, psychological and spiritual care to the relatives of the patients. scarce resources served in it, coming from the different cantons of the Province of El Oro
