Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Ecuador. The Ecuadorian government has implemented various support measures, however, full recovery requires considerable time and the strengthening of business support policies. The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of government economic and social measures on the financial management of Ecuadorian microenterprises. The bibliographic and documentary review is used, which serves as a basis to base the SWOT analysis of these organizations, in addition to interviews for data collection. A diagnosis of the problem is carried out that allows the SWOT matrix to be developed, strategic financial management tools to be proposed, as well as strategic objectives to be proposed as a contribution to achieving the recovery of microenterprises in Ecuador.
