Abstract

Revistas médicas surgidas en Cuba durante la sexta década del siglo XIX. Rev Cubana Salud Pública [online]. 2000, vol.26, n.1, pp. 68-77. ISSN 1561-3127.

With a short description of the main formal and content elements of the medical journals that appeared in Cuba during the sixth decade of the 19th century, continuity is given to the reviews of the titles published betwen 1840 and 1860 that were made known in the previous issues of the Revista Cubana de Salud Publica. This paper as the prior ones pretends to become a reference work on the publications whose circulation is considered as an important stage of the history of Cuban medicine in general and of national bibliography in particular.
