A dental survey was design for measuring oral hygiene level, prevalence and severity of the periodontal disease and the Inventory Tests of Ansiety-Feature-State (IAFS) and the Pathological Ansiety Test (PAT) for the assessment of stress. With 95% of confidence it was obtained that 43,6% had mild and high signs of situational stress. The affection with higher prevalence was that of chronic-edging gingivitis (50,9%). Regular oral hygiene prevailed in the soldiers with mild (25,4%) and high (30,9%) stress.
