A study in a family carrier of corneal degeneration in lattice was performed .After the original case, three more and a suspencions were detected. A perforating keratoplasty in one eye was carried out in one of these diagnosed. Two cases for the same surgical procedure were pending. The international effective classification was updated, and the topic was reviewed with the poor bibliography found. National references about family studies in this disease were not found.
