Abstract

MARTINEZ PEDRAZA, Raxiel. Approach to the preparation of the Cuban pre-university teacher for use of the virtual classroom. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.3, pp. 41-49.  Epub June 02, 2022. ISSN 2218-3620.

The work with the literary narrative text and its correct understanding constitutes one of the concerns of the Cuban pre-university teacher. The incorporation of technologies into Education offers multiple ways to enrich these processes; however, difficulties are observed in correctly integrating didactics, technologies and knowledge into the teaching-learning process. The objective of the research is to diagnose the preparation of pre-university teachers who teach the subject of Literature and Language in the Santa Clara municipality to develop the comprehension of literary narrative texts through the virtual classroom. An exploratory and descriptive study is carried out, using the questionnaire as an instrument to obtain information. A total of 50 pre-university teachers of Literature and Language are part of the study, distributed in experimental group (17 = 34%) and control group (33 = 64%). The results obtained show little knowledge, insufficient practical skills; as well as the need to strengthen professional values and reinforce affectivity in relation to the development of the comprehension of literary narrative texts through the virtual classroom. The conclusions guide the need to propose a theoretical-methodological conception aimed at raising the insufficient preparation of the teacher to develop the understanding of literary narrative texts through the virtual classroom.
