Terminal efficiency today is considered a measure par excellence by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to measure their productivity, whose main indicator is the graduation rates by university students graduated from the various Public Universities of the country said. metric is a reference for the allocation of budgets within the framework of HEIs. The objective of this research is to characterize seven generational cohorts in the context of terminal efficiency, under the identification of the degree options most used by graduates, thus allowing the design of viable strategies for the promotion and increase of graduation rates. in the Nutrition Degree of a University of South Southeast of Mexico. This study has a research method under the approach, not experimental, descriptive. Being a convenience study with a population made up of a total of 258 records of students who completed the courses of the current curriculum of the generational cohorts from 2006 to 2012. The information collected in this study was processed and analyzed with the SPSS 20 software. From the analysis of the data, it was identified that of a total population of 350 students who entered from 2006 to 2012, 73.71% (258 students) concluded the curriculum obtaining the status of graduate, 68% (238 students) reached terminal efficiency, which represents 68% of the graduation rate in relation to admission and 92.25% of the graduation rate in relation to graduation.
