Abstract

RAMOS LA ROSA, Patricia et al. Communication management for productive efficiency in coffee cooperatives in Peru. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2022, vol.14, n.4, pp. 628-637.  Epub Aug 30, 2022. ISSN 2218-3620.

The objective of the research was to explain the influence of internal communication management in boosting the productive efficiency of coffee cooperatives in Peru. The type of research is applied, with a descriptive, explanatory and mixed research method and a cross-sectional, correlational research design. The population consisted of 604 members. The sample consisted of 148 members. The techniques applied were: observation, documentary analysis, structured interviews and surveys. In the quantitative analysis, the research yielded a significance level of .000 and a direct and strong correlation of Rho=.802 between communication management and productive efficiency. In the qualitative consideration, it showed that the categories of the variable communication management and productive efficiency were ratified. In addition, the emerging subcategories, relationship generation, cultural, linguistic and historical aspects, generational change, corporate governance and social value were identified. The research concluded that the management of internal communication influences the dynamization of the three axes that constitute productive efficiency in coffee cooperatives, where a behaviorist approach stands out.
