Abstract

AGUIRRE TORRES, Gorki  and  RODRIGUEZ VERA, John. Citizen perception and subjective interest in cyberspatial information on socioeconomic and political conjunctural issues, Ecuador-2022. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2023, vol.15, n.2, pp. 379-388.  Epub Apr 30, 2023. ISSN 2218-3620.

The investigation took as a problem action the citizen dissent on the institutionality of the State and the administration of public affairs related to the socioeconomics and politics manifested in current decline; proposing as an objective to analyze the quality of life of the population, through citizen perception with the use of technological data collection tools, correlated to the subjective need for cyberspatial information, in order to propose future structural changes for improvement in terms of to national governance. The unit of analysis was established towards the national population 18'113,365, the sample was instituted by non-probabilistic stratified random sampling for convenience with 3,530 inhabitants with representativeness of 99% and margin of error of 3%. The research design was experimental, correlational, under the qualitative-quantitative approach, using the data collection technique through the online survey using the Google FORMS software and applied verification with SPSS software. On the other hand, the Python programming language was used, applying data modeling through a Google API, to verify the search trend of subjective citizen information on specific topics. Ending with disappointing results in terms of positive perception of the institutional framework and national governance.
