Students who lack the development of emotional intelligence tend to present problems in the process of socialization, behavior, coexistence, cognitive development and the practice of values. The objective is to design a ludic strategy based on a system of activities for the development of emotional intelligence in high school students at "La Unión" Educational Unit. The research is non-experimental, descriptive, with a mixed approach, the study population and sample consisted of 27 students, 27 parents and 3 teachers. Theoretical, empirical and mathematical or statistical methods have been used to better explore the problem. The proposal has been validated by means of the specialists' criterion method with an average of 4.89. The execution of playful activities contains fundamental elements for the development and recognition of emotions in the student's teaching-learning process, making them more imaginative, sociable, affective and persevering in the face of study.
