The present article is aimed at, firstly, providing a series of theoretical considerations about formation of values in university students, and, secondly, to analyze the Cuban professors' job in our universities. Thus, it will state the fact that the educational, political, and ideological work cannot be either standardize, or performed in a uniformed way, but rather it should flexibly and creatively adequate itself to the context within it takes place, and according to the needs of persons aimed at.
