Abstract

Since Cuban revolutionary process began, education was considered as a key for development, and this topic was highlighted within social politics. However, in the last 15 years, several changes were introduced in this field, mainly those related with education for jobs. This paper analyzesb the educational policies and labor force market (mis)match during 2000-2014, mainly in education-job relation. It is structured in two parts: the first one deal with main transformations in education for jobs and employment in the last 15 years. The second one focuses the relation between education and labor market demands as a process. The paper ends with some considerations about this topic
