Abstract

This descriptive and prospective study was conducted taking into consideration the social importance of the geriatric population and its progressive increase in order to know the satisfaction degree of the elderly living at "América Labardí Arce" from January to September, 1999. A survey was done and the percent statistical method was used. It was observed a prevalence of females, of the age group 60-65 and of the internal regime of life. Home activities were highly represented. The residents showed a high level of satisfaction. The nursing activity showed positive results in this home for the aged.
