Abstract

HERRERA OLIVERA, Maite; FABA CRESPO, Marilyn Beatriz  and  ESTRADA NAVA, Reyna Delia. The studentsʼs geometric argumentation in the third cycle of primary educational level. Conrado [online]. 2022, vol.18, n.87, pp. 117-125.  Epub Aug 02, 2022. ISSN 1990-8644.

The argumentation is one of the essential considerations of the Model of Primary School in Cuba; in the third cycle this skill is fundamental to determine the value of true of the geometric proposition. However, the students present difficulties in the formulation of geometric arguments of deductive nature. The teachers use the combination of the two essential ways for the teaching of the geometric argumentation, but lacking of a method that generates more effective actions that favors the step of inductive reasonings to deductive, with a verbal, practical and social character. The objective of this work is to propose a methodology for the development of the studentsʼs geometric argumentation in the third cycle of the primary educational level. The methods were used: analytic-synthetic, observation, pedagogical proof and the analysis of the product of the educational activities and it constitutes a partial result of the approved doctoral topic and admitted by the Doctoral Program of the Ciego de Avila’s University.
