This work aims to design and build a machine shredder greens Angustifolia Haw Agave, starting from the determination of the rational values of the variables that influence the pulping process and operating parameters. To project design was based on selecting an appropriate model of shredder machine prototype for conditions agave producers of the State of Oaxaca, Mexico, later by calculation, were determined the dimensions and operating parameters. Finally, experimental model was constructed to determine the optimum values of the defibering gap and of the exit and feed speed of the sheet. This test shows the relationship between the defibering gap and defibered quality, besides, the relationship between the input and output speeds of the sheet with respect to energy consumption of the process.
