Abstract

Tourist destinations are studied by countries which are developing this economic ruble as an important source of income and development. The main objective of this study is ecologically diagnose the dimensions it should present to promote the development of this sector in the province of El Oro. The study was conducted in the canton Santa Rosa in the province of El Oro, due to the tourist potentials it has. A type of diagnostic study was done in which the methods used from the theoretical point of view were the logical -historical and analytical-synthetic and the empirical document analysis and comparative study. The main results were natural, cultural, resources related to tourist plant, infrastructure, superstructure and marketing resources. It can be concluded that a diagnosis has been made with the key dimensions which should have a tourist destination contextualized to a province EL Oro with potentials in this sector.
