Abstract

The present work deals with the linguistic referents for the construction of texts in social communication from the studies of the campaigns of public good in health situations, attending to the need to use linguistics in the creation of the contents that are used to promote health and thereby prevent disease. The objective is to argue the linguistic elements for the construction of texts that promote health in order to reach a higher level of effectiveness and efficiency in the messages. For this, the use of methods and techniques inherent to qualitative methodology and discourse analysis is feasible, favoring the elaboration of theoretical premises for the production of texts in different preventive health communication campaigns.
