Abstract

Introduction:
Mastery of communication skills allows the student to be able to express clearly, precisely and with the proper use of the language the information he wants to convey. This research addresses a topic of importance and current importance for the training process of the Physical Culture professional.
Objective:
To develop educational activities for the development of communication skills in first-year students of the day course of the degree in Physical Culture
Methods:
A population and sample of the 33 1st year students and the 12 professors who teach classes throughout the year were taken, using methods such as the theoretical level: analysis - synthesis and inductive-deductive. Within the empirical level, the analysis of documents, observation, interview and survey.
Results:
The elaborated educational activities constituted a valuable way of knowledge necessary to improve communication skills in students in a planned and organized way, thus corroborating the final results obtained.
Conclusions:
The most recent research in Cuba on the problem of this research, allowed to reveal deficiencies and insufficiencies in communication skills, which express the dynamics of the training process of the Physical Culture professional, for the achievement of the relevance of the profession in its relationship with the diversity of the professional context.
